French Advertisements. Quite possibly the most amusing thing in Paris!

My favorite day of the week is when they put up the new 'billboards' called afiches in France. . . . It's hard to randomly take pictures of billboards without looking totally crazy, so here are a few that I have been able to 'sneak.'

Renault, the French car company, had a big campaign right after I arrived, touting their new line of cars. Scenic is the name of a car. The whole idea is that because you had a kid/new kid, you need a new car. All of the kids were really cute!

It's 'common knowledge' in France that the French don't learn other languages, but especially English well. So, adds for English language classes are really popular. This one says: One more language? Wall Street English!

Nikki, this one is for you and for Mr. Sindewald! There was a movie which came out maybe 2 weeks ago in France called "Murphy's Law."

This one was just too cute to pass up. . . It says Fall fashions starting at 5.90 euros.

Another sign for english courses. It says "Heal your English with Telelangue. Stop massacring English! 90% success rate!"

New Moon! Called 'Tentation" in France. It comes out on the 18th here! Hehe.
